The café is cozy. I like to enjoy coffee here.

A super nice and cozy café. Not only do they have delicious cakes and delicious coffee, but also alcoholic drinks. At the moment you get a lot to take away if you don't want to sit down. Inside, however, only every second table is free, so you don't have to worry about hygiene guidelines and can relax and drink coffee. Especially in times of Corona, when many cafés and restaurants have a hard time, you simply have to support our local gastronomy. It would be a shame if a great café like the Makery from Braunschweig disappeared .. Addition 29.11.20: The great vegan brownies are definitely to be recommended! ?

For me it has the best cake (cheesecake !!!) in Braunschweig. And now in Corona November even coffee and cake to take away from Friday to Sunday, which leads me to this review - the Bruns is closer and unfortunately it was closed (but otherwise it is also very good).

Great breakfast and the price is reasonable. The only thing I would have liked is scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet, otherwise everything was good :)

Comfortably furnished, the staff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet is varied and extremely tasty. Keep it up, don't let up. It wasn't the last time we were here for breakfast.

The description of the living room is very good, you just feel comfortable here, despite the fact that the “shop” is often very full. The selection of drinks and small dishes / cakes is very good.

Large and high-quality selection at the breakfast buffet, which also includes vegetarians and vegans. On offer are: various types of cold cuts and spreads, eggs, bread, rolls, croissants, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, brownies, waffles and fruit salad. Everything was very fresh and delicious, especially the homemade caramel and chocolate cream! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere pleasant.

This Café is amazing! Inside is a very relaxing vibe which is perfect for having conversations or working with your laptop and the food is delicious even with vegan options. Also the homemade drinks are amazing.

We had an excellent breakfast twice on the weekend. Service was always friendly and courteous. Coffee was delicious. And everything is fair, sustainable and organic. In short: Really a great café for cozy brunch. Reservation strongly recommended. We would love to come back!

Lots of good homemade dishes that are really delicious! The service was also very courteous and friendly. They also offer the opportunity to hold courses there, which I find very nice. Great concept and great implementation!

Lovely place

The atmosphere here is very pleasant. The staff are very friendly. The cafe is quite generous and also offers at the tables a lot of space, so sometimes a stroller next to it has space. The large and wide windows that go from floor almost to the ceiling, give a nice open character and a good view into the part of the whole Magniviertel yet. The offer is good and breakfast is served all day. The food is delicious and affordable. I am very happy and I will go there again.

Makery is just great, the staff is super friendly, their coffee choices are vast and delicious plus their waffles and cake choices are yummy. I can totally recommend this place although you have to be lucky to get a table. I suggest you either give them a call before you get there or be flexible with the table offering. The interieur is amazing, too. As a student you can study here for hours :)

I have been there several times. The ambiance is just wonderful. The prices are fair and the staff is super nice. As an occasional espresso fan, I can say that the Cortado is highly recommended

Service is fine, sometimes it is more friendly and attentive than other times, but generally good. There are a few typical German cafe things to eat (waffles, cakes, etc.) as well as standard breakfast options but nothing if you are desiring a full meal. The pricing is fair considering many of the drink offerings are bio, fair trade, conscientiously sourced, etc. Make a reservation if coming on the weekend to be sure you can get a table. There are steps to enter the building so be aware if you are with wheels.

Some scrambled eggs with sausages would be nice. 2)Unfortunately, we were almost done with our breakfast, but still nobody came to ask what kind of a drink we want. After 20 minutes we had to ask if please someone could bring us coffee and Oj. 3)Considering the fact, that the products are bio and self made, and the location is an expensive area in braunschweig with high rents, conpare to the service which we received, 18.50 € war a bit expensive. I'd say 15€ would be a fair price. Bottom line, we were happy and had a great time there.

Individual style, nice unique menu. No dish for starving people though. If you are hungry go somewhere else. Staff is motivated and nice. One star minus for service cause they gave me the last piece of cake which was slightly bigger than the normal piece. They charged me one and a half piece. That's bad service. Please be more generous.
